Redundant bonding · Lossless Shield

Streaming Mode

MagNet Redundant mode sends every packet on all healthy paths. The first good copy wins, so perceptible loss on calls and live video approaches zero.

< 1% perceptible loss

Typical on dual-WAN redundant setups during tower handoff.

OBS & RTMP friendly

Bond cellular + Starlink for field uplinks.

No appliance tax

Software-only — no proprietary hardware encoders.

Built for live video

When you're broadcasting, on a sales demo, or hosting a webinar, a single 200 ms gap on one ISP shouldn't freeze your audience. Redundant mode keeps UDP and TCP smooth by duplicating frames across fibre, 5G, and Starlink.

  • Duplicate packets on all alive WANs
  • Receiver deduplicates instantly — first good copy wins
  • Auto Lossless Shield engages at 0.5% loss
  • Works on macOS, Windows, Linux, and gateway routers

When to use Speed vs Redundant

Speed mode stripes packets for maximum Mbps — best for file uploads and bulk download. Redundant mode trades some bandwidth for reliability — best for Zoom, Teams, OBS, and FaceTime.

  • Speed — max throughput, Enhance Streaming on by default
  • Redundant — duplicate every packet, lowest loss
  • Failover — single best path, instant switch on death

Gateway streaming

Install MagNet in router mode on a Pi or OpenWrt box. Your phone, camera, and encoder on the same Wi‑Fi inherit bonded uplink — no app on each device.
